In a recent concert at Milan’s San Siro Stadium, Taylor Swift experienced an unexpected moment that both entertained and concerned her fans. During her performance of the surprise mash-up of “The Moment I Knew” and “I Almost Do” as part of her Eras Tour, the singer accidentally swallowed a bug.
Swift reassured her worried fans later, saying, “I knew this would happen with so many bugs around tonight. I’ll be okay; I just need to cough a little.” This incident was not isolated; she had previously swallowed insects during concerts in London and Chicago earlier this year.
Despite the mishap, Swift dazzled the audience with her costumes. Her outfits included a striking ensemble inspired by The Fearless Era, featuring gold, black, and intricate motifs. For her performance with the Tortured Poets Department, she changed into a white gown adorned with the phrase, “Who’s Afraid Of Little Old Me?”
The Milan concert was part of the Whirlwind European Leg of the Tour. At one point, the crowd began chanting “Sei Bellissima,” which means “You Are Very Beautiful” in Italian. Swift appeared visibly moved by the enthusiastic response from her fans.
This Milan performance followed her Eras tour shows on July 9 and 10. Swift took to Instagram to share her experience, posting, “The Eras Tour has brought so many firsts… for example, I’d never been to Switzerland before. This place is stunningly beautiful, and I loved performing for the amazing crowds in Zurich. It’s wild to think we only have 7 cities left on the European leg of the tour. Next up is a city I’ve been eagerly anticipating: Milan.”
